As a mom and military spouse who was born and raised here in Northern Michigan, Callie Barr knows what it’s like to stretch a family budget and worry about the cost of childcare, gas and groceries.

When her husband, Matt, returned from Iraq with combat injuries, Callie, then a teacher, became his caretaker and saw firsthand the lack of support for returning service members.

Motivated to help other families like hers, she got involved in advocating for veterans and their families, got her law degree, and worked to connect veterans to free legal services they deserved.

Now, Callie is running for Congress to actually get things done for Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.

Callie Barr will:
