Mother Theresa was often quoted as saying, “We cannot do great things on this earth. We can only do small things with great love.”

Our purpose is simple yet profound: To promote the philosophy and platform of the Democratic Party, to help elect Democratic candidates who support this philosophy, and to encourage and foster participation in our nation’s electoral process so we can change our county, our state, our country and improve the quality of life for all Americans.

Here are some of the small things we do with great love:

• Provide coordination between Democrats in the prospective townships as well as coordination on district and state party matters.
• Encourage qualified candidates to run for elective offices on the township, county, state and federal levels.
• Provide the people of Otsego County with information concerning township, county, district and state affairs.
• Develop a strong, sustainable organization capable of conducting effective township and county campaigns in Otsego County.
• Aid township, county and district Democratic candidates endorsed by the party for local and general elections in Otsego County.
• Aid Democratic Candidates of our choice in State and Federal elections.
• Abide by the rules of the Democratic Party of the State of Michigan.
